Sanitisers with an alcohol content of at least 60 percent are officially recommended, particularly when dealing with Coronavirus. As coronaviruses are enveloped viruses, sanitisers should be tested against this kind of virus for proof of efficiacy. If possible, you should select products that have been specifically tested on a Coronavirus surrogate. For example, all the products listed below have been tested against Coronavirus BCoV (surrogate virus), according to standard EN 14476, and shown to be active in 30 seconds. Beware of non-tested products
When choosing the hygiene products, you should bear in mind that not every hand sanitising product that is currently on the market has been tested to meet the necessary quality standards. They might be unsafe or ineffective.
