What comes after the lockdown?

In many European countries, lockdowns have brought hard weeks of stagnation for several businesses. Though it might seem out of reach at the moment, a return to normality may be only a few weeks away for shop owners, fitness centre operators, employees in hotels or restaurants. One thing, however, will be essential for the reopening: good jygiene practices.

Reopening in England

England is leading the way! In the United Kingdom shops, beauty centres and the outdoor areas of restaurants are reopening again. It is the same for gyms, libraries and zoos. The cultural scene, however, still needs to have patience: cinemas, theatres and clubs remain closed.

In the UK, this is possible because over 50 per cent of the total population have either received a vaccination or have had COVID-19. This means that a good half of the British have antibodies against the Coronairus in their blood. In other countries, sufficient immune protection of the population could be achieved in summer. Then the social and economic life could also be restarted in the rest of Europe.

Arriving in the new normal

However, an integral part of this new normality will be a good hygiene management in public places. Because we will all have to learn to live with the virus and continue to protect ourselves from it in the best possible way. "We firmly believe that the new normal will be about two things. First, hygiene must become even more present. To strengthen the feeling of safety in all areas, everything will be about visible hygiene in the future - for example through well-positioned hand sanitisingdispensers," says Sven Jäschke, Country Manager Nordic, Central & Eastern Europe at GOJO Industries. "Secondly, it will be about brands that people can trust."

With the products from PURELL®, you are in good hands. The hand hygiene gels are enriched with moisturising and lipid-replenishing substances that help keeping the skin in balance. You do not have to choose between safety and effectiveness, you get both as standard. In fact, the number one product in the USA contains ingredients that kill 99.99 percent of harmful pathogens. Our products are even proven to be effective against Coronavirus.*

Which sanitiser dispenser is the best?

As experts for hand hygiene solutions, we advise employers to install permanently mounted sanitiser dispensers in public places. These combine many advantages, including being significantly more robust than mobile sanitiser dispensers and are thus much more sustainable because they need to be replaced less often. That can add up to some hefty savings.

PURELL ADX dispensers offer exceptional reliability, easy maintenance, and a design that looks good in any environment. Our high capacity 1200mL PURELL dispenser is ideal for high traffic areas like shops and stores. Large sight window, skylight and crystal-clear refill bottles make it easy to check fill status. PURELL® Advanced Hygienic Hand Rub is the perfect product to fill these dispensers, ensuring reliable and carefree hygiene.

Stay healthy!
